Summer Camps

Summer camps take place in early July at St. F.X. University in Antigonish. Players are selected for the summer camp at the conclusion of the spring camps. Players typically stay in residence and are on campus for four days participating in both on and off ice sessions.

The program fee for the summer camp is typically around $685 which includes residence, four meals per day, all on and off-ice sessions including games and practices, and apparel.

Atlantic Challenge Cup

The Atlantic Challenge Cup takes place in Moncton, N.B. during Thanksgiving Weekend with provincial teams from all four Atlantic provinces coming together for the premier showcase event in Atlantic Canada. A roster of 20 players will be selected at each age division to attend this event.

The program fee will be announced shortly, but it is typically in the $515 range.

The 2025 Atlantic Challenge Cup is scheduled for Oct. 10-12.


Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League Male U16 Challenge

The QMJHL U16 Challenge features provincial U16 teams from Atlantic Canada competing in the QMJHL Cup showcase event. This event will take place on Thanksgiving Weekend.


Team Atlantic Female Under-18 Program

Team Atlantic is comprised of players from the four Atlantic provinces and competes in the National Under-18 Championships. Typically, 42-46 players  from the four Atlantic provinces are identified through their participation in the respective provincial programs and selected to attend the Team Atlantic summer development and evaluation camp led by the coaching staff of Team Atlantic .

September 2025: Team Atlantic Roster Announcement
November 2-8, 2025: National Under-18 Championship, Mount Pearl, N.L.
*Tentative pre-camp: Oct. 29-31, 2025 in Mount Pearl, N.L.

The 2025 National U18 Championship will take place in Mount Pearl and Conception Bay South, N.L. from Nov. 2-8, 2025. Team Atlantic will potentially host a pre-camp in that area from Oct. 29 or 30-Nov. 1.
