Hockey Nova Scotia would like to inform our members of an update to the selection process for this season's Female U18 provincial team.

This year, we are moving away from the holiday selection camp format that was used last season. Instead, players will be evaluated and selected based on scouting conducted throughout the regular season. We believe this change will help us build a strong and competitive roster while minimizing the demands on players' time during the short holiday season.

Hockey Nova Scotia’s High Performance Program staff will be observing players at various games and events throughout the season, as well as via video scouting. At the beginning of April, selected players will be contacted directly by our coaches.

Players selected to Team Nova Scotia will compete in the Female U18 division’s Atlantic Challenge Cup. The event takes place from May 1-4, 2025 at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth, N.S. and will welcome 80 of the top female players in the region who will participate on provincial teams from Hockey Nova Scotia, Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey PEI, and Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador.
