The 2025 U17 World Challenge is heading to the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro, N.S., from October 31 – November 8!
As the first step in Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence, the tournament includes two Canadian teams – Red and White – taking on four international entries: Czechia, Finland, Sweden and the United States.

At the 2024 U17 World Challenge in Sarnia, Ont. last year, Canada White won a back-to-back gold medal after defeating Canada Red 3-1 in the championship final. It was the first time two Canadian teams met in the final since Hockey Canada began sending national teams to the U17 World Challenge in November 2014.
