QUISPAMSIS, N.B. – The 2024 National Women's U18 Championship is officially underway in Quispamsis, N.B. and Nova Scotia is well-represented on the Team Atlantic roster.



Twenty players from across Atlantic Canada are representing Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey Nova Scotia, Hockey PEI, and Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2024 National Women's U18 Championship in Quispamsis, NB. The national event takes place from Nov. 3-9, 2024 at the qPlex. 

Ten Nova Scotians were named to the team in September including goaltender Cicely Harnum (Beaver Bank, N.S.), as well as Claire Sanford (Fall River, N.S.), Emma MacIntyre (Halifax, N.S.), and Rachel Walsh (Hammonds Plains, N.S.) on defence. Forwards Brooke Williams (Valley, N.S.), Hali-Rose MacLean (Antigonish, N.S.), Hilary Wilkin (Waverly, N.S.), Jaylee MacKinnon (Clark's Harbour, N.S.), Kendall Doiron (Boylston, N.S.), and Renee Olsen (Yarmouth, N.S.) will also represent the region at the event.

Team Atlantic began the 2024 National Women's U18 Championship on Sunday at the qPlex falling 2-1 in overtime to Team Saskatchewan. The full schedule for the event can be found at the link below.
