Hockey Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Minor Council Cape Breton Regional Director Guy Reid is the 2024 recipient of our Minor Council Award of Merit.

The award, considered the most prestigious that a person in minor hockey can receive, is presented annually to an individual who has made a significant contribution to minor hockey in Nova Scotia.

Guy is a respected and knowledgeable member of the Hockey Nova Scotia Minor Council where he is known for his work ethic and leadership.

Guy has excelled in his volunteer role on the council, giving up his time to help lead the group through their regulation review where he has delivered impressive results. Guy is actively involved with the branch's safety regulations and engages effectively with all of the minor hockey associations in his region. He consistently goes above and beyond what is asked of him, demonstrating thoroughness and dedication in every task he takes on.

Guy's contributions make him an invaluable asset to the Hockey Nova Scotia Minor Council team.
