REGISTRATION OPEN FOR HOCKEY CANADA CLINICS THIS MONTH IN DARTMOUTH

As the 2023 IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championship approaches, Hockey Nova Scotia and Hockey Canada are inviting players and coaches to take part in a series of Hockey Canada Skills Sessions and Hockey Canada Coach Clinics.
The Hockey Canada Skills Sessions and Hockey Canada Coach Clinics will be offered on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022 and Sunday, Dec. 18, 2022 at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth, N.S. Each session is open to players and coaches who are currently a member of a Hockey Nova Scotia-registered team at the applicable level.
Each player who registers will receive a pair of tickets to see Canada take on Finland in a World Junior pre-tournament game at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on Dec. 23. Each coach who registers will receive one ticket to the game.
These development sessions are one-hour long and will cover age-appropriate skills for each age group including key skills in the areas of skating, puck control, passing, shooting, and scoring. The in-class and on-ice portions will focus on key concepts and habits, as well as the transfer of skills from practices into game situations.
