RANDALL RECEIVES C-LEVEL COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD

Hockey Nova Scotia is proud to announce that Dan Randall of the Cole Harbour Bel Ayr Minor Hockey Association is the recipient of our 2025 Coach of the Year Award (Rec/C-Level).

As head coach of the U13 C Red Wings this season, Dan helped guide his team to success on the ice — but it was his leadership, dedication, and positive influence off the ice that left a lasting impact on players and families alike.

Known for his tireless commitment, Dan created an environment where players could develop their skills, grow in confidence, and build lifelong friendships. He took the time to get to know each of his players, focusing on their strengths and working with them to improve in all areas of the game. Whether it was helping a player become a stronger skater, showing someone how to be an effective forechecker, or boosting their confidence by putting them in new roles, Dan always saw potential.

Beyond practices and games, Dan played a key role in building a tight-knit team community, organizing off-ice activities like hikes, ball hockey, and team dinners. His focus on inclusion, sportsmanship, and fun helped make the season a success for everyone involved.

From all of us at Hockey Nova Scotia, congratulations on being named our 2025 Coach of the Year (Rec/C-Level), Dan!
