NSFHL & NS U16 AAA PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND GETS UNDERWAY

The puck has dropped on what promises to be a great weekend of hockey in Nova Scotia, as we kick off our provincial championship calendar with three tournaments running March 27–29.
From Pictou County to the Annapolis Valley to Cape Breton Island, the province's top players are taking centre stage, and all of the action is being streamed live courtesy of our friends at High Button Sports.
NSFHL U13 AAA PROVINCIALS
The Fundy Highland Stars Female Hockey Association is playing host to the NSFHL U13 AAA Provincial Championship at the Pictou County Wellness Centre in Pictou County. Five teams are battling it out for provincial bragging rights: the Fundy Highland Stars, the Quad County Whitecaps, Metro West Force Red, Metro West Force Blue, and the Valley Wild. Round-robin play runs Friday and Saturday, with a skills session on Saturday afternoon before the championship game on Sunday, March 29 at 11:00 a.m.

Five teams — Valley Wild, Metro West Force Blue, the Metro East Inferno, Fundy Highland Stars, and Cape Breton Blizzard — are competing in a full round-robin before Sunday's championship final

NOVA SCOTIA U16 AAA HOCKEY LEAGUE PROVINCIALS
Rounding out the weekend's championship action, the Cape Breton McNally Jets are proud hosts of the Nova Scotia U16 AAA Hockey League Provincial Championship at the Membertou Sport & Wellness Centre in Membertou. Five teams — the Cape Breton McNally Jets, Cabot Highlanders, Kings HC, Voyageurs HC, and Martello Buccaneers — will take part in a full round-robin across Friday and Saturday, with the Opening Ceremonies taking place Friday evening, before Sunday's Gold Medal Game decides the provincial champion.
