Hockey Nova Scotia is now accepting bids to operate a Maritime Major U18 Female Hockey League franchise in Region 3. This region includes the Metro East Female Hockey Association boundaries, as well as the boundaries of Bedford and Sackville.

Interested applicants are asked to review the documents above and submit their bid packages by 4 p.m. on May 10, 2024.

Applicants are asked to submit two (2) copies of their bid package. 

Following an evaluation of the submissions that meet the specific bid criteria, the franchise will be awarded for a term of two years. 

The following process will be followed in selecting the new franchise operator: 

The Hockey Nova Scotia selection committee will be reviewing your bid package and applying a scoring matrix to the proposal. The scoring will be out of 100%. Please provide as much detail as possible. There will be a follow-up interview with all the applicants. These questions will be scored out of 100%. Both the written proposal, along with the interview, will be combined to obtain the final score. 

Following this process, the selection committee will make a recommendation to the Hockey Nova Scotia Female Council, and then to the Hockey Nova Scotia Board of Directors for final approval.
