NOVA SCOTIA WINS 2025 FEMALE U18 ATLANTIC CHALLENGE CUP

DARTMOUTH, N.S. — Team Nova Scotia is the top team in Atlantic Female U18 hockey once again.

With a dominant 5-0 shutout victory over Team PEI in Sunday’s final, Team Nova Scotia captured gold at the 2025 U18 Female Atlantic Challenge Cup held at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth.

Jaylee MacKinnon led the way offensively with two goals in the final, while Rachel Hartnell, Ellie Isenor, and Floragael MacNeil each added single markers. In net, Eleanor Feltham was outstanding, turning aside all 25 shots she faced to earn the shutout and clinch the win.

The gold-medal performance capped off a perfect weekend for the Nova Scotians, who finished the tournament with a flawless 4-0 record. The team opened the event on Friday with a 4-1 win over Team PEI. On Saturday, they followed that up with a 4-1 win over Team Newfoundland and Labrador and a 5-3 victory against Team New Brunswick.

This year’s championship run adds another chapter to Team Nova Scotia’s legacy at the Atlantic Challenge Cup. It also marks the second consecutive year the team has won gold at the spring edition of the tournament, following last year’s overtime win over Team New Brunswick in the gold medal game.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and staff on an incredible performance. We’re proud of you all.
