Hockey Nova Scotia is proud to announce that Dartmouth Minor Hockey Association U18 C player Drew McPherson is the winner of our 2023 Outhie Moriarity Award.

The Outhie Moriarity Award is named in honour of late hockey supporter Outhie Moriarity and given out annually to a C-level player who demonstrates dedication to the game, reliability, and responsibility.

Those who know Drew say he is passionate about the game. A longtime member of the Dartmouth Whalers association, he has overcome two knee surgeries which showcased his determination and commitment to the sport. Undaunted by these setbacks, Drew's love for the game remains strong on and off the ice.
