Hockey Nova Scotia is pleased to announce that Jane Ogilvie is the recipient of our 2021 Female Officiating Award of Distinction.

Jane is a talented young official who takes great pride in her role.

Jane’s officiating journey began in 2014 when she joined the refereeing ranks. Today, she is a Level 3 official who will attend the next Member High Performance (formerly Level 4/5) clinic offered in the province.

This past season, the Truro native officiated U Sports women's hockey and a personal highlight was working the Female U18 AAA provincial final.

Jane’s officiating resume is decorated. In 2017, she was selected to officiate at the Atlantic Challenge Cup in Moncton, N.B. That year, she also worked the U18 Atlantic tournament and in 2018, she worked the Esso Cup.

Jane was also a lead instructor at Hockey Nova Scotia’s all-female officiating camp.
