FOUR TEAMS REPRESENT PROVINCE AT ATLANTICS THIS WEEK

Four teams from Nova Scotia are representing the province this week at Atlantic Championship tournaments across the region. These teams earned their spot by capturing provincial titles and are now taking on the best from the Atlantic provinces.
On behalf of Hockey Nova Scotia, we wish each team the very best of luck as they compete on the regional stage.
TASA Ducks – U13 AAA Male
The TASA Ducks begin their Atlantic Championship run today in Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland and Labrador. The Ducks earned their spot by winning the Minor U13 AAA provincial title on home ice last weekend. On Day 1 of the tournament, they’ll take on two teams from Newfoundland and Labrador, including the host Central IcePak this evening.

Metro West Force Red – U13 AAA Female
The Metro West Force Red are off to a busy start in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, with two games on the opening day. The U13 AAA NSFHL champions are already facing the TriPen Ice, and will be back on the ice tonight to face the host Central IcePak.

WearWell Bombers – U15 AAA Male
The WearWell Bombers kick off their Atlantic Championship tournament today in Dieppe, New Brunswick. The Bombers will face Prince County Warriors from Prince Edward Island in their first game of the event.

Fundy Highland Stars – U15 AAA Female
The Fundy Highland Stars begin their Atlantic tournament this afternoon in Quispamsis, New Brunswick. The U15 AAA NSFHL champions are set to face Central Storm Black at 4 p.m. in their tournament opener.
