FIRST HOCKEY NOVA SCOTIA FEMALE COACH DEVELOPMENT SERIES SESSION PLANNED FOR FEB. 24

This month, we are proud to launch the Hockey Nova Scotia Female Coach Development Series.
For our first session on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 6 p.m., we are pleased to have Hockey Nova Scotia High Performance Program coach and registered psychologist Briden Cohen joining us.
Briden’s presentation will focus on practice planning, coach philosophy and player mental health.
Over the past decade, Briden has coached at variety of levels in the Pictou County area, as we volunteer coach with the Hockey Nova Scotia High Performance Program. A member of the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Psychological Association, Briden has worked as a psychologist with the Chignecto Central Regional School Board since 2005.
This session is offered free of charge and is open to female coaches who coach either minor hockey or female hockey.
