Hockey Nova Scotia is proud to announce that the Cole Harbour Bel Ayr Minor Hockey Association’s Tim Coombs and Eric Durand are the co-winners of our 2024 Coach of the Year Award (Rec/C-Level).

As members of the Cole Harbour U15 C Red Wings coaching staff this season, Tim and Eric helped lead their team to an impressive 17-5-8 record, scoring 93 times and allowing just 49 goals against.

However, it was in helping to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where Tim and Eric enjoyed their most success. This season, they went above and beyond to provide support and encouragement for all of the players on the roster. That made them all feel welcome and that led to positive hockey experiences for the Red Wings both and off the ice.
