BLIZZARD WELCOME REGION'S BEST ON THURSDAY IN SYDNEY

SYDNEY, N.S. – The 2026 Female U13 Atlantic Hockey Championship officially gets underway on Thursday afternoon at the Kehoe Forum in Sydney, N.S. The tournament, hosted by the Cape Breton Blizzard, showcases the best Female U13 talent from across Atlantic Canada as five outstanding teams hit the ice in pursuit of the regional championship.
The tournament features provincial champions from across the region, including:
* Valley Wild (Hockey Nova Scotia champions)
* Eastern Icebreakers (Hockey NL champions)
* Moncton Fury (Hockey New Brunswick champions)
* Pownal Red Devils (Hockey PEI champions)
* Cape Breton Blizzard (Host team)
The action begins at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday with the Valley Wild taking on the Pownal Red Devils in the tournament's opening game at the Kehoe Forum.
