DARTMOUTH, N.S. – Hockey Nova Scotia Female Council is looking for three new volunteer Regional Directors to help lead the girls’ game in the Halifax, Valley and Western regions.

About Female Council
Female Council oversees the administration of female hockey in Nova Scotia. In 2014, Hockey Nova Scotia consulted with members across the province and established regional female hockey zones, each with its own executive to run the game within its boundaries. The structure was adopted at the 2015 Annual General Meeting, a seventh zone was added in 2018, and the final Female Hockey Association was approved in the spring of 2023.
Today, Female Council works with seven member Female Hockey Associations to grow the game from one end of the province to the other:
• Cape Breton Blizzard Female Hockey Association
• Quad County Whitecaps Female Hockey Association
• Fundy Highland Stars Female Hockey Association
• Metro East Inferno Female Hockey Association
• Metro West Force Female Hockey Association
• Valley Wild Female Hockey Association
• Western Riptide Female Hockey Association
