ANOTHER BUSY WEEKEND OF PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP HOCKEY

Our provincial championship season is in full swing across Nova Scotia, with five more tournaments hitting the ice April 2–5.

From Berwick to Glace Bay, Dartmouth to New Waterford and Port Hawkesbury, the province's top talent takes centre stage this weekend and all of the championship action is being streamed live courtesy of our friends at High Button Sports.


MINOR U13 AAA PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Hosted by the Valley Jets
Berwick, N.S. | April 2–5, 2026

Eight teams across two pools are competing for U13 AAA provincial honours in the Valley. Pool A features the Sackville Flyers, TASA Ducks, Cape Breton County Islanders, and Western Hurricanes, while Pool B is made up of the Valley Jets, Cole Harbour Wings, Halifax Hawks, and Pictou Crushers. Round-robin play runs Thursday through Saturday, with the Gold Medal Game on Sunday.

MINOR U15 AA PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Glace Bay, N.S. | April 2–5, 2026

Cape Breton plays host to the U15 AA Provincials, with seven teams battling through round-robin play before Sunday's championship final. Good luck to the the host Glace Bay Miners, Halifax Hawks, Yarmouth Mariners, Pictou County Crushers, Bedford Blues, Cape Breton County Islanders, and Dartmouth Whalers as they compete for a provincial title.

NOVA SCOTIA U15 MAJOR HOCKEY LEAGUE PROVINCIALS

Hosted by the Dartmouth Whalers
Dartmouth, N.S. | April 2–5, 2026

The U15 Major Provincials come to Dartmouth, with a field of ten teams including the Bandits, Bombers, Gulls, Novas, Rangers, Wolverines, and hometown Whalers, are all vying for a Nova Scotia championship.

MINOR U18 AA PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Hosted by the New Waterford Minor Hockey Association
New Waterford, N.S. | April 3–5, 2026

The New Waterford Sharks welcomes four teams for the U18 AA Provincials: the Strait Richmond Pirates, Cumberland Ramblers, Bedford Blues, and TASA Ducks. Three days of hard-fought hockey wrap up with Sunday's Gold Medal Game.

NSFHL U18 AA PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP

Hosted by the Quad County Female Hockey Association
Port Hawkesbury, N.S. | April 3–5, 2026

Port Hawkesbury hosts the NSFHL U18 AA Provincials, with five teams competing for the provincial banner: the Fundy Highland Stars, Metro East Inferno Fire, Quad County Whitecaps Teal, Metro West Force Blue, and Metro East Inferno Blaze.
