ALDERSON RECEIVES LISA HALEY FEMALE COACH OF THE MONTH AWARD

Hockey Nova Scotia Female Council is proud to announce that Metro West Female Hockey Association coach Carla Alderson is the Lisa Haley Female Hockey Coach of the Month Award winner for the month of October.
As a coach with the Metro West U15 A Cyclones, Carla has been described as encouraging, inspiring, and supportive.
A strong female role model for her team, the players on the Cyclones roster look to her for guidance both on and off the ice.
Carla is known for continuously expanding her own coaching knowledge so she can help her players develop in all areas of the game. She goes above and beyond the call of duty for her team to ensure each player receives the support and help they need on the ice, as well as away from the rink.
Carla is a coach who truly cares about each and every one of her players, and she does everything she can to make sure they all feel respected and welcomed on her team.
In previous seasons, Carla has also given up her time as an instructor with the Hockey Nova Scotia-ISANS New Canadians Hockey Program at the Centennial Arena in Halifax.
Hockey Nova Scotia and the Hockey Nova Scotia Female Council would like to congratulate Carla Alderson on her award and thank her for her contributions to the sport.
