Twenty-six Nova Scotia hockey products heard their names called at the 2024 Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League Entry Draft this past weekend.

The 2024 QMJHL Entry Draft, a two-day event held at the Avenir Centre in Moncton, N.B., began on Friday, June 7. Halifax McDonald's forward Daniel Walters did not have to wait long for his selection.

Walters was the first Nova Scotia off the draft board when he was picked 11th overall by his hometown Halifax Mooseheads. The Halifax native posted 9 goals and 18 assists in 29 regular season games with the Macs in the Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League this past year.

Before the weekend was through, 25 more Nova Scotians heard their names called at the draft. A complete breakdown can be found below.
