2025 FEMALE U18 ATLANTIC CHALLENGE CUP BEGINS ON FRIDAY

DARTMOUTH, N.S. - The 2025 U18 Female Atlantic Challenge Cup, a premier showcase of hockey talent in Atlantic Canada, hits the ice this weekend in Dartmouth, N.S.
The event is scheduled to take place from May 2-4, 2025, at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth, N.S. and will welcome 80 of the top female players in the region who will participate on provincial teams from Hockey Nova Scotia, Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey PEI, and Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador.

This is the second season in a row that the event is being held in the spring. At last year’s tournament, Team Nova Scotia defeated Team New Brunswick 4-3 in overtime in the final to win the championship. Fall River's Claire Sanford scored the game-winning goal.
The Atlantic Challenge Cup has a rich history of featuring top talent, with past participants including Sidney Crosby, Sean Couturier, Brad Marchand, Lukas Cormier, Nathan MacKinnon, Noah Dobson, Philippe Myers, Jill Saulnier, Sarah Davis, Dominique Cormier, Blayre Turnbull, Shannon MacAulay, Alex Newhook, and Dawson Mercer.
