Lisa Haley Female Coach of the Month Award
Throughout the hockey season, Hockey Nova Scotia will be recognizing inspiring female hockey coaches with the Lisa Haley Female Coach of the Month Award. The award will be handed out each month to an exceptional leader in the female game who has helped to make the sport better.
The award is named in honour of Westville, N.S. native Lisa Haley. A gold medal-winning assistant coach at the 2014 Winter Olympics with Canada's national women's team, Haley was a longtime bench boss with the Saint Mary's University Huskies where she amassed one of the best winning records in U Sports women's hockey history.
Hockey Nova Scotia invites you to nominate a coach in your area for the Lisa Haley Female Coach of the Month Award today.
Winners will be recognized by Hockey Nova Scotia and will receive a plaque and puck bag courtesy of the branch.
We encourage you to nominate a coach that is making a difference and to help spread the word about the Lisa Haley Female Coach of the Month Award.
